Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager supervises TEN staff accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, quarterly and yearend audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Accounting Manager will have contact with group CFO and the firm’s Executive Director, internal and external auditor which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Providing and interpreting financial information.
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.
• Establish annual budget, forecasting activities and variance analysis.
• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and yearend close.
• Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Assist the Controller in the daily treasury requirements.
• Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
• Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, and other firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests.
• Ensure clean and timely quarterly and yearend audit.
• Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
• Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
• Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
• Support Finance directors with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Qualiication & Job Specification:
• Graduation Qualification: University Degree (Accounting)
• CMA is required.
• Must be PC proficient Experience with oracle or other large automated accounting system.
• Proficiency in using MS Office application.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Years of Experience: 8 years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger are.
• Nationality: Egyptian
