Review of road design shop drawings and active involvement in design modifications (vertical and horizontal alignments, super elevations, etc.), temporary detour road designs, connections to existing roads and side streets, analyzing clearances to structures, etc.
Knowledge of fine details of the design for implementing on-site modifications and local tie-ins (to pavements on structures, to existing pavements, etc.)
The Road Engineer should also know about pavement designs and get involved in curbstone types and interfaces, service road streetscapes, and coordinate with the Drainage Engineer for catch basin locations, etc.
Can also be of assistance to the Electrical Engineer regarding the locations and depths of underground services under the roads and walkways, and fine tuning the location of street lights.
The Road Engineer should have good knowledge about traffic lights placement and phasing, road signage types and locations, VMS, road-side safety barriers, crash cushions, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree of Civil engineering.
From 1 to 2 years of experience in similar field.
Egyptian.
Male.
Ability to relocate to KSA.
Hard worker and can work under pressure.
