Job Description

Are you a people person? Do you enjoy working outdoors? Philip Morris is in search for an Area Executive, who is highly achievement driven, sales oriented, has strong sense of urgency towards business and enjoys building strong rapport with retailers and distributors.

Your main role is to maximize sales, undertake visibility and business building activities for our brands in the covered territory, while ensuring product availability and visibility is at an adequate level to meet business demands. You will assist in sourcing business opportunities within the trade and develop business building activities at the outlet level through effective utilization of resources and tools. You will also work closely with our distributors in managing the Sales Representatives to achieve business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maximize sales of products in designated territory and work closely with the sales representatives to achieve their volume targets.
Ensure sufficient availability of products within targeted outlets and educate the retailers about the company’s programs to achieve assigned sales targets. 
Monitor the progress of targets and take appropriate action to address any shortfalls in a timely manner.
Analyze various data to draw actionable plans according to the needs of own territory that are aligned with the national commercial plans. 
Lead, coach and motivate Sales Representatives to achieve business objectives and KPIs. 
Ensure that the Sales Representative have a clear understanding of business direction and targets.
Drive effective and efficient execution of commercial plans and strategies in own territory and maximize all available resources, in responding to issues and opportunities identified.
Uphold corporate integrity and values while ensuring all activities comply with the Principles & Policies of Philip Morris and all other governing laws.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma/Degree in Business studies or related field
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Field Sales (preferably in FMCG)
PC literate with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
