Job Description:
Translate/Review source text from English into Arabic and ensure high quality; Reading the material and researching industry-specific terminology.
Read and thoroughly understand the context of a given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools.
Convert text and audio recordings from source language to target language. Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialized concepts and translate them appropriately. Ensures translated texts convey original meaning and tone required for the games domain and\or client.
Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.
Co-operate with project managers to ensure the translation meets the client needs.
Use CAT tools to translate source text and generate the target files. Handle TEP requests ensuring that the translated text is ready to be delivered to the client without revision.
Required Knowledge and skills:
Communication skills.
Attention to details and a critical eye to note errors and correct them.
Teamwork skills
Excellent understanding and usage of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Professional in using CAT tools.
Educational/Professional Requirements:
Bachelor of Art /translation/ degree in English or any related field.
Fluent in English; spoken and written.
Proven record in games translation.
Experience: 6-8 Years
